Mission
Hope in the Journey serves two distinct populations:  those seeking counseling and therapy for themselves or family members and those dedicated to helping others through the behavioral health profession. Therefore, we have two unique/distinctive missions:

Counseling

  • To provide a resting place on life’s journey
  • To offer practical, compassionate counsel
  • To awaken God-given hope

Professional Training

  • To deliver energetic, evidence-based professional training to counselors and therapists working with clients who have addictive disorders
  • To provide state-approved training toward CAC certification
  • To present integration of Biblical concepts with addiction counseling

A personal note…

Hello, I’m so glad you’re here!  The fact that you have arrived at this place at this moment reflects your present hope and desire for direction and companionship on this journey we call life.

Like most things in life, the founding of Hope in the Journey has been a process for me.  By God’s grace, I have received the courage to step out in faith and learn how to “just do the next thing.”

In our therapeutic relationship, I will be honored to hear your story, encourage your heart, validate your challenges and struggles and come along side to humbly offer words of kindness and wisdom.

If I’m honored to meet you in the professional training arena, I will be excited to learn about your journey and contribute to your knowledge and professional growth so that you can be a counselor who makes a positive impact in hurting people’s lives.
